How to register?

Follow the link "Sign up for free" in the top right corner of the page. Fill in all required info. All fields are obligatory.
Email: field for filling email address.
Nickname: fill in the name of your account.
Password: fill in the chosen password. How to make a secure password?
Country: choose country of your origin.
VAT registrant: choose whether you are VAT registrant or not. (If you don't know what VAT registrant is, most probably you are not one and you can choose "NO".)
VAT ID - only if you have chosen that you are VAT registrant: fill in your VAT ID.
Terms and conditions: Please read terms and conditions carefully to prevent any problems or lack of clarity. If can you accept the terms and conditions by checking this box.

How to make a secure password?

Your password should be secure by being difficult to guess. With a easy password you are risking that someone will steal your account and buy images with your money for which you will be responsible.
A secure password should contain either capital or small letters, numbers and/or special characters - at least one character from each of those categories. Do you find it difficult to remember? Use letters that are important for you - for example first letters of names from your family, numbers of some important dates for you, etc. Their combination won't be easy to guess and you will remember it easily.

Keeping password safe

You are responsible for all actions with your account, therefore you are not allowed to share your login details with anyone else. For the same reason please be careful and do not write your passwords on any papers left near your computer or do not save your data into your computer.


Why should I register?

You can view Pixmac images without registration but you won't be able to access many functions. Mainly, you won't be able to upload images. You won't be able to use our lightboxes, evaluate images, add comments. Also, we won't be able to inform you about news about Pixmac and special (for example sales) events.
Registration is free and it is very easy, you will only need to fill in all basic data and immediately you will be able to use all our services. The registration doesn't obligate you to anything. Register now!

I have lost my login data, what should I do?

Follow the link Forgotten password in the top right corner of the page. You will have to insert your email address (connected with your Pixmac account) and you will receive a message from us. In the message there will be a link that will point you to the Pixmac page where you will insert your new password (twice, for verification) and you will be logged in (you can see your nickname if you forgot it too) with your new password.

I cannot log into my account.

Check please that you haven't switched on caps lock (writing capital letters) or num lock (writing numbers). If you use "save passwords" with your web browser, try to fill it manually. If that doesn't help, click Forgotten password and change it. If even this doesn't solve your problem, please, contact us and describe your problem.

Can I change my username and email?

You can always change your email address in your Settings. Your nickname is your unique identifier and therefore you can't change it but if you have any important reasons for it, please, contact us.

I want to close my account, is that possible?

If you want to close your account, please, contact us. Tell us the reasons why have you decided to end cooperation with Pixmac - it is a good information for us what we can improve. We can also try to satisfy you with some fast solution to any problem you might have - every user is important for us! Remember that cancellation of your account isn't possible in cases where you have accepted images that are online for less then one year (see our Terms and conditions).
